Sofia Sport & Healthy Life Exhibition

Dates: 13-15 October 2016
Frequency: Annual
Organizer: Via Expo
Venue: Sofia, Tzum

The second edition of Sofia Sport & Healthy Life exhibition will take place in 2016, combining once again the topics of sport and healthy lifestyle under one roof. The main goal of the event is to offer local and foreign companies a chance to present their products on the Bulgarian market and find new business contacts, meeting face-to-face with distributors, producers. The exhibition will showcase sports equipment and facilities, health products, natural and organic food and cosmetics, diet foods and nutritional and herbal supplements.

Sofia was chosen for the 2018 European Capital of Sport, and as a result many projects in the construction of different amenities are well underway, with numerous new outdoor fitness grounds, sports halls, stadiums and also bike lanes being finished or planned. Bulgaria is a popular international destination for several sports like skiing and golf, and during the last few years it also witnesses an increased fascination with both extreme sports and more relaxing sport programs.

Interest in healthy and organic products is also growing among athletes, the youth and the middle and upper class population. The country has a centuries old tradition of using herbs, essential oils and other non-medical natural products to improve health. Because of this, Bulgaria offers favorable conditions for both international and local companies to expand their business in the areas of healthy, natural and organic supplements, foods and cosmetics.
