Gyuler Alieva, Junior Expert, Department of Waste Management, Ministry of Environment and Water


Ms. Alieva has graduated from the Technical University in Varna with a Bachelor degree in Technology and Equipment for pollution prevention of seas and environmental protection, after that she received her Master degree within the same field.

Her professional experience within the Ministry of Environment and Water starts in 2012, when she has become a Junior Expert within the Human Resource sector in the Ministry of Environment and Water.


From 2013 until now she is a Junior Expert within the Public Administration sector of the same Ministry within the Waste Management Department.


 

 


 

Waste Management in Bulgaria

As a Member State of the European Union, Bulgaria has implemented the requirements of EU law in the field of waste management and seeks their adequate implementation in the country.
The main goal of the national policy on waste management is to achieve an integrated framework for their management, to reduce the environmental impacts of the generated waste, improve efficiency of used resources, increase the responsibilities of polluters and stimulate investment in this field.
