Dear Mr. Ferencz, please present your company briefly.

The systems from EREMA are designed for a single purpose: to make plastics recycling as innovative and efficient as possible. We develop reliable machines and components that are customer and solution-oriented in every detail. For us, sustainable business goes hand-in-hand with profitable processing. At the moment there are more than 5000 of our systems in operation worldwide.

Could you tell us about your Innovative Vacunite technology? What benefits does it bring?

Our new bottle-to-bottle process VACUNITE for food-contact-grade rPET pellets stands out through highly efficient decontamination, compact design and low energy consumption. This innovation brings together EREMA´s VACUREMA® bottle-to-bottle process with newly patented, vacuum-supported solid state polycondensation (SSP) from Polymetrix.
What makes this combination so special: all thermal process steps take place in nitrogen atmosphere. The result is rPET pellets which are unique in quality and far exceed all food-contact requirements.
With VACUNITE we offer our bottle-to-bottle customers a new technology in addition to the existing portfolio which sets new standards at all levels from technical performance to rPET quality.

I see that you have made changes to your EREMA Laser filter for the PET industry, Are you happy with where it is now and do you think that it is a better alternative to the piston filter?

Processors find the smooth handling of PET melts with degrees of contamination over one per cent, stable pressure consistency and particularly long screen service life convincing. So the Laserfilter is now being used more and more rather than the piston filter particularly in the direct processing of PET flakes to make semi-finished or end products.

As an old time Exhibitor, Visitors from which industry sectors would you like to see at your booth?

We are looking for Potential buyers in the field of plastics recycling and producers from neighbouring countries. Furthermore, we welcome existing customers, packaging manufacturers, recyclers, plastic recyclers.
