Ministry of Environment and Water of Bulgaria supports ‘Save the Planet’ - Waste Management & Recycling Exhibition and Conference for Southeast Europe
 


 

The specialized event ‘Save the Planet’ will present the latest industry developments in the waste management field. The sector has great potential and attracts the interest of businesses and local state administration.
 
‘Save the Planet’ will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of Environment and Water of Bulgaria and is organized annually by Via Expo. The Ministry is a state institution, directly involved in the waste management field and will take part in the Conference.

Austria is a supporting partner of the event and the highlight of the exhibition in 2014 will be the Austrian Pavilion that will be situated on a larger area.

Leading companies from Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Denmark, Poland, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland will acquaint the visitors with a wide variety of waste treatment, collection, disposal, recycling and composting technologies and equipment.

The main sessions of the ‘European Waste Management Day’ will include topics concerning recent changes in legislation, reinforcement of the partnership between the public and private sector, effective waste reduction & recycling strategies. The event will be held in partnership with the Association of Cities and Regions for Recycling and Sustainable Resource Management (ACR+) and the European Network of Environmental Professionals (ENEP).

Speakers from the Waste-to-Energy Research and Technology Council - (WtERT) will present global and local perspectives in the waste-to-energy production.
