Some toipc of the projects are: Classification of European Biomass Potential for Bioenergy Using Terrestrial and Earth Observations; Raising Awareness on renewable energy Developing Agro-eneRgetic chain models; Improved Nutrient and Energy Management through Anaerobic Digestion; Uptake of Solid Bioenergy in European Commercial Sectors (Industry, Trade, Agricultural and Service Sectors) – Bioenergy for Business; Sustainable Regional Supply Chains for Woody Bioenergy (BioRES).
BioRES: Centers for Logistics and Biomass Trade - Concept for Creation of Sustainable Regional Supply of Wood Biomass
Project BioRES, which will be presented on the current forum, aims at introducing an innovative concept of Biomass Logistic and Trade Centres (BLTCs) in Serbia, Croatia, and Bulgaria based on cooperation with technology leaders from Austria, Slovenia, Germany, and Finland. This will help increasing the demand for woody bioenergy products (processed fire wood, wood chips, wood pellets, and wood briquettes) in these countries and contribute to the achievement of EU targets set out in the RES Directive (2009/28/EC).
