The Compost and Biogas Association of Austria is a long-term & loyal partner of the South-East European Renewable & Energy Efficiency event of Via Expo.

The association organizes again this year the popular Austrian biogas industry meeting with the support of klimaaktiv, the climate protection initiative of the Federal Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism (BMNT).

The Biogas18 Congress will take place on 11th and 12th December 2018 in the WIFI Linz in cooperation with the WK Upper Austria

Current challenges and central topics will be:

  • 3 years successor rate, what then?
  • Change in the energy market and climate protection - what role does biogas / biomethane play in 2030 and 2050?
  • Biogas and biomethane for the provision of electricity, heat and fuel
  • Research and development needs in the biogas sector
